This is an athletic competition where individuals rapidly scale a debarked pole, usually 20 feet high, striving for the fastest time from the moment they touch the pole until they reach the top.
Visitors will place a log onto sawhorses, then two people will take the crosscut saw and pull back and forth to cut the log
This competition involves the tossing of boulders. Distance thrown is a big component of this competition.
SACK RACES FOR THE KIDS

BISCUIT EATING CONTEST

SORGHUM MAKING

This is a fun, competitive game where participants hop forward inside a sack, often a burlap bag or pillowcase, while holding onto the top of the sack. The goal is to be the first to reach the finish line, and the challenge lies in coordinating hopping with keeping the sack from falling down and staying within designated lanes
This contest is a food challenge where participants compete to see who can eat the most biscuits within a set time limit and with specific rules about consumption. (With or without sorghum syrup.)
See the process from beginning to end: Pressing the stalks to extract the juice, then slowly boiling it down, skimming off impurities, and monitoring the consistency until it reaches the desired syrup thickness. It's sopping good!
